This month, one of the novels I’ve read is the speculative fiction novel CyberStorm by .
There are many excellent books that are being indie-published these days, though I still feel that the majority of books aren’t all that great. This book, however, is a fun post-apocalyptic read that really hit home with me.
Despite the characters being a bit too trope-filled, the plot was both plausible and realistic enough that I was sucked in rather quickly and stayed hooked until the end. In fact, I actually had a few nightmares after reading this because the idea of the Internet failing and what it would mean for all our technology to stop working, was realistic enough that it concerned it.
I don’t scare easily. I don’t tend to have nightmares about books. But this one was broke that record.
I feel the end was still a bit too pat for me, but if you want a good, post-apocalyptic read, check this one out.
3/5 stars.
