It and Blackout are my favorite books. Absolutely awesome. Got to take am master writing class with Connie last year and ask about her research for that. Not was an amazing experience. So much so I’m going back again this year. 😉 If you’re ever up here in June, you should try and go. 😀

The ceremony has readings by Connie and others, opportunities for signings, then the banquet (which is vegetarian friendly, if that matters). During the banquet, Connie MC’s the Locus Awards. Lots of jokes and fun. Plus you have to wear a Hawaiian shirt or suffer the wrath of Connie, which can also be fun.
The dates are: Friday, June 26th – Sunday, June 28th.
It takes place in a hotel, which is pretty affordable as well so if you do come up, you could stay in the same hotel.
