Magnolia Chapter One began as six local authors from the Seattle neighborhood of Magnolia getting together to talk writing. From there, it evolved into a regular meeting critique group of nine.

As the group met, we found more local authors who wished to join our critique group or make their own, but didn’t know how to get started. And thus, Magnolia Chapter One was born. The hope is that the group can be a way for local authors to network, gain advice on craft, attend workshops and conferences, and generally support each other in our writing.
